Tridentine Liturgical Texts to be Reprinted

A major order in the Church has announced the publication of a reprintseries of the liturgical texts ordered by the Council of Trent.

The Salesians intend to edit the Breviarum (1568), the Missale (1570), the Pontificale (1595-1596), the Caeremoniale (1600) and the Rituale (1614)."It is indeed a treasury that has forged Christian spirituality for fourwhole centuries," they write, "an ongoing tradition which continues to enlighten the faith and life journey of the people of God up to this day."The Pontificale is already available.
